Team Hike up Sleeping Giant
Posted Tuesday July 29th, 2014 in Fun + Personal. On a stifling Tuesday afternoon in July, the GEM team left work and embarked on a rather “Giant” group outing. The GEM-ites trekked down the street to Sleeping Giant State Park for a sweaty-but-swell evening.
“Never underestimate the power of hanging out with your team and finding out their passions,” said CEO Christopher Bartlett. “Living and experiencing all of the various aspects of life are one of the most dynamic journeys one can have.”
As the entire team has a common interest in the great outdoors, utilizing the natural amenities of GEM’s location in the Mount Carmel section of Hamden was a no-brainer. Once they reached the Tower together, the team was able to collectively reflect on the exciting period of transition that they are beginning. A perfect day was picked to socialize outside of the confines of the office and strengthen their already “rock solid” bonds.
As Chris always says, “a team is comprised by the qualities of the relationships you build.”
